The single-beam photo eye is guided in front of the lower edge of the door by the supplied mechanism and if the light beam is interrupted by an obstacle, the door is stopped and reversed. The ‘LE’ system (grey connection cable with yellow/blue system plug) replaces the old VL1 systems without ‘LE’ (black connection cable with transparent system plug). Note: Identification sensor type ‘LE:’ grey connection cable, production period 01.03.2017 - LE transmitter: blue system plug LE receiver: yellow system plug The sensor type ‘LE’ with blue/yellow system plug is not compatible with transmitters or receivers of the older sensor type without ‘LE’ with transparent system plug. We recommend replacing the complete VL1 system with the new LE version.

This enables it to be used for opening doors, as well as to detect objects and vehicles in the area designated for presence detection.The KABUTO was designed to operate in industrial conditions.
