Product description

The EST sliding gate operator series from Elka is the ideal solution for demanding sliding gate automation projects. This series offers reliable, robust and durable drives that meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Features and benefits:

Robust and durable:

  • The housing is made of high-quality galvanised steel (compact housing) or powder-coated aluminium (comfort housing) to ensure a long service life and excellent protection against the elements.

Different models for different requirements:

  • 230V compact housing: for doors up to 16,000mm in length and 2,000kg in weight (models: EST 1204 and EST 2004).
  • 230V comfort housing: for doors up to 16,000mm in length and 2,000kg in weight (models: EST 1204K and EST 2004K).
  • 400V comfort housing: for larger doors up to 20,000mm in length and 4,000kg in weight (models: EST 2204K and EST 4004K).

Simple installation and operation:

  • The components are easily accessible and simple to install in both housing versions. The comfort housing offers additional space for extensions and a service socket.

Safety and reliability:

  • Equipped with an electronic brake that enables an immediate stop with short return when a safety device is triggered.When used in combination with sensors, such as safety edges and photo eyes, the operator system can be customised to the needs of the door system.

Height-adjustable:

  • The height of all drives in the series can be adjusted by up to 30mm to ensure optimum adaptation to the door conditions.

Gear wheels and gear racks:

  • Depending on the model, the drives are offered with gear wheels with module 4 or module 6. Matching gear racks are available as accessories.
