Description:
The door control unit TS 970 by GfA Elektromaten is an automatic control panel for use with GfA Elektromaten drives with digital (DES) or mechanical (NES) limit switch system.
Properties:
- Protection class IP54
- Integrated push button for UP-STOP-CLOSE commands
- Parameter setting via selector switch with digital display
- Independent, programmable relay contact, e.g. for red-green traffic-lights
- Operating modes: hold-to-run mode or self-hold/ automatic mode
- Automatic detection of safety edge type (Optical edge FRABA VITECTOR, resistive edge 8k2 or NC-contact type 1k2 with testing)
- Automatic timer-to-close
- Adjustable intermediate open position, e.g. half open, venting position
Due to the pre-assembled, pluggable motor cable, the TS 970 can easily be connected to the drive. A faulty wiring is hereby avoided, thus minimizing installation errors and time. The connection cable can be wired into the control panel housing from either top or bottom. In addition tot he motor cable, the TS 970 can work with a multitude of additional inputs, e.g. rope-switches, photo eyes, sensing edges and many more.
The TS970 by GfA includes most standard features of a modern door control panel and can therefore be used to operate most industrial doors. For more demanding applications, GfA Elektromaten offers the control panel types TS971 or TS981.
